I struggled with this painting in the same way I struggled spiritually in my own life. The message revealed to me is to look inward and come face to face with your soul. This is accomplished by forgiving yourself and others for past transgressions. You must tear down the barriers created over your lifetime to protect yourself from pain and suffering in order to become more receptive to the message God has for you. The journey ahead will have more meaning, when you are walking on the path God has created for you. With this understanding, healing can begin, and you can experience a new dimension of life. This discovery of God’s message can be very reassuring.
